Program
Under the Ability
One Program formally the Javits-Wagner-O’Day Act, federal government
contracts are awarded to Community Rehabilitation Programs that employ
individuals with disabilities for products or services.

Affordable housing
for severely mentally ill and low income indivuals. Case management
provides strength-focused services that enhance independent living skills
and vocational/educational functioning. The program assists families and
individuals in indentifying and utilizing natural supports.

Center Based
Employment:
Clients participate
in a variety of income earning opportunities that include bulk mailing,
secured document destruction, clerical, custodial and laundry services.
Group Supported
Employment:
Clients work in an
environment with a job coach on one of ACHIEVE’s federal government
contracts within the community.
Individual
Supported Employment/Support Aide:
Clients are
employed by community businesses where ACHEVE staff assist the client and
business owner to overcome barriers to employment.

Rehabilitation
Services Administration (RSA)
ACHIEVE provides
employment services through one or all of the following. All services may
include one-on-one support through a job coach.
Work Adjustment
Training:
Utilized by
vocational rehabilitation clients who require extensive services to prepare
for competitve employment.
Job
Development/Placement:
Provides assistance
in obtaining employment for job-ready individuals who require development
of basic skills for obtaining and maintaining employment.

Department of Rehabilitation
Under this contract
ACHIEVE performs vocational rehabilitation employment services. Inclusive
of work adjustment training and job development.
Local Community
Services
ACHIEVE provides
the following services to over 200 local community businesses and private
homes:
-Custodial
-Bulk Mailing
-Grounds Maintenance
-Secured Document Destruction
Services are
provided in Western Arizona: Yuma, LaPaz and
Mohave counties and Eastern California along the Colorado River Valley.
